2019 Rides and Events

Below is the current list of area rides and events for the 2019 riding season.  More rides and events will be added so check back often for an updated list. If you know of a ride or event that is not on the list and would like it added send us an email with the details and we will be happy to add it to the calendar. All events are rain or shine unless otherwise noted.

  • Troy Maple Festival
    Sunday April 28th
    Meet at Troy American Legion Post 49 at 9:00, kickstands up at10:00 for a short ride before going to Alparon Park for the Car & Bike Show at the Maple Festival. The ride will be an all PA route, distance will depend on weather, so helmets are not necessary but always recommended. A copy of the event flyer is available here.


  • Military Share Benefit Ride
    Saturday May 11th
    Military Share is a food distribution program designed to provide free food to local veterans and their families in need. The vent is being sponsored by Knoxville VFW Post #6753, Elkland American Legion Post 428, Elkland American Legion Riders Post 428 & CVMA PA 22-6. Registration is at the Knoxville VFW, cost is $10 per person which includes the meal after the ride, with kickstands up at 10:00. A copy of the event flyer is available here.   • Christmas For Kids
    Saturday May 18th
    Hosted by the Athens American Legion Riders Post 246. Cost is $15 for Rider and $5 for Passenger.   • Rolling Thunder
    Friday May 24th - Sunday May 26th
    We will have a group leaving Friday May 24th and a second group leaving Saturday May 25th. Each group will meet, on their respective day, at the Troy American Legion at 8:00, kickstands up at 8:30.

  • Troy Memorial Day Parade
    Monday May 27th
    Meet at W.R. Croman Elementary at 8:30, the parade starts at 9:00.


  • 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Ride
    Sunday June 2nd
    Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at First Citizens Community Bank in Troy, kickstands up at 10:00. Cost is $15 for rider and $5 for passenger, lunch after the ride is included with registration. The ride will be an all PA route so helmets are not necessary but always recommended. A copy of the event flyer is available here.

  • Wells Township Park Ride & BBQ
    Saturday June 8th
    Registration is from 8:30-9:30 at the Wells Township building ride leaves at 10:00. Cost is $20 for rider and $5 for passenger. For more information contact Rich Packard at (607) 742-0199 or JoAnn Packard at (607) 426-6678.

  • Dennis & Kathy Scrivener Ride
    Saturday June 8th
    Hosted by the Athens American Legion Riders Post 246, proceeds to benefit disabled veterans. Cost is $15 for Rider and $5 for Passenger.   • 3rd Annual Bike Ride for the Nurses
    Sunday June 23rd
    Join us for the 3rd Annual Bike ride for the Nurses.  All proceeds will support local students studying to earn a nursing degree. Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at First Citizens Community Bank in Troy, kickstands up at 10:00. Cost is $15 for rider and $5 for passenger, lunch after the ride is included with registration.   • Bradford County Veteran's Memorial Park Fundraiser
    Sunday July 7th
    Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at the Bradford County Veteran's Memorial Park in Towanda, kickstands up at 10:00. The cost is $15 for rider and $10 for passenger, lunch after the ride is included with registration. The ride will be an all PA route so helmets are not necessary but always recommended.   • 10th Annual Motorcycle & Auto Poker ride
    Sunday July 14th
    Proceeds to benefit the fallen firefighter Richard L. Springman Scholarship fund at The Mansfield Foundation. Registration is from 9:00 - 11:00 at Trout Run Park 10294 Lycoming Creek Road Trout Run, PA 17771. Cost is $15 for driver and $5 for passenger.

  • Rainbow Riders Fundraiser
    Sunday July 21st
    Ride is to benefit the Troy chapter of Rainbow Riders. Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at First Citizens Community Bank in Troy, PA. Registration is $15 for rider and $10 for passenger which includes lunch at the end of the ride. The ride will be an all PA route so helmets are not necessary but are always recommended.   • Troy Fair Bike Show
    Saturday July 27th
    Meet at Troy American Legion at 5:30, kickstands up at 6:00 to ride to fairgrounds.


  • "Paws for a Cause" Motorcycle Benefit Ride
    Sunday August 4th
    Proceeds from the ride will benefit the animals at Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield, PA. Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at First citizens Community Bank in Troy, kickstands up at 10:00. Cost is $15 for rider and $5 for passenger, lunch after the ride is included with registration. The route will be all PA roads so helmets are not mandatory but always recommended.

  • 2nd Annual Ride For Patriots Fundraiser
    Saturday August 10th
    Registration is from 9:00-11:00 at Mountaintop American Legion, kickstands up at 11:30. Cost is $15 for rider and $10 for passenger. For more information visit their Facebook page here.

  • American Legion Riders Relief Fund Benefit Ride
    Sunday August 18th
    Join us for a scenic ride through Northeastern Pennsylvania to benefit local veterans. Registration is from 8:45-9:45 at First Citizen's Community Bank in Troy, PA. Registration cost is $15 for Rider and $10 for passenger with a chicken BBQ included after the ride. The chicken BBQ is open to the public, halves are $6.00 and dinners are $8.00. We will also have a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese Auction. A copy of the event flyer is available here.

  • Bradford County 4H Fundraiser
    Saturday August 24th
    Hosted by the Athens American Legion Riders Post 246, ride is to benefit the Bradford County 4H. Cost is $15 for Rider and $5 for Passenger.   • Ride for Health
    Saturday September 7th

  • 19th Annual 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride
    Wednesday September 11th
    Join us as we head to the 19th Annual 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride in Montgomery, PA. We will be meeting at the Troy American Legion at 1:30 with kickstands up at 2:00.

  • Freedom Fighter Outdoors Benefit Ride
    Saturday September 28th
    Coal Motor Crue C-M/C is hosting the Freedom Fighter Outdoors Benefit Ride starting at the Coal Motor Crue clubhouse. Cost is $15 per person which includes a pig roast with sides, soda and water or B.Y.O.B. All proceeds from this benefit will go to the Freedom Fighters Outdoors Organization.
